THE SINGAPORE CENTRE FOR THE PROMOTION OF NONVIOLENT COMMUNICATION is a soon to be registered non-profit organisation that seeks to make training and materials relating to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) available to all those who want them, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion or economic status.

Nonviolent Communication is also referred to as Compassionate Communication and, in some parts of the world, as ‘Giraffe Language’, hence the image of a giraffe featured in our logo.

The giraffe has the largest heart of all land animals and, through the promotion of Nonviolent Communication in Singapore, SCPNVC aims to support a community that truly lives from its heart.

Nonviolent Communication is a simple yet powerful methodology that gets us connected with ourselves and with one another.
