Sharing the gifts of Compassion, Connection and Choice |

Adults share the same needs as children, including needs for companionship, play and fun. |
For Families |
|
Thus far, the only families who have had an opportunity to benefit from applying NVC skills in their home environments are those who have had the time and money to invest in attending commercial workshops. In 2006, SCPNVC is committed to offering a pilot programme of evening sessions, at no cost to participants, that will focus empathetic attention on resolving some of key issues affecting modern family life - parenting, partnership, work-life balance, money, etc. Over the longer term, through this offering and others like it, we aim to attract local facilitators who can, in time, translate our work so that it can be presented not just in English but in all four official languages. Family members can attend our 2-day programme, The Gift of Compassion over the weekend of December 4th/5th 2005. Click here to find out more. |

· Some other ideas include: · The charitable provision of written materials through existing family centres · Working to develop trainers amongst the staff at these centres · MCYS support in delivering NVC through community centres · Talks at local libraries |

Raising a generation that relates without prejudice is a challenge we can overcome together. |
